The global conference celebrates 75 years of computing. The digital age began 75 years ago in Berlin, when Konrad Zuse created the world's first computer, the Z3. The Zuse Institute Berlin and Tagesspiegel have invited outstanding digital pioneers to Berlin to discuss the digital future on May 11, 2016.

 


 

How will digitalisation continue to change the world? What will be conceived and developed in industrial laboratories and at the top universities? The Zuse Institute Berlin and Tagesspiegel have invited outstanding digital pioneers to Berlin to discuss the digital future on May 11, 2016.

The current event programme can be found here. The conference will be held in English.

The conference will be opened by Michael Müller, the Governing-Mayor of Berlin.

The Keynote is being held by Peter Altmaier, Head of the Federal Chancellery and Federal Minister for Special Tasks
