Nominate a nonprofit organization serving Martha's Vineyard that made a significant impact on the community in 2020. 

Tell us why a nonprofit organization serving Martha's Vineyard deserves a $2,500 Community Impact Grant in 500 words or less. You can also add an optional video URL to improve the presentation. 

We will post the eligible nominations in mid-April for community voting through mid-May. In June we will award a $2,500 Community Impact Grant to the nonprofit serving Martha's Vineyard that received the most votes.

at the bottom of this form prior to submitting your entry to be sure your nonprofit nominee is eligible.

Submit a short essay and an (optional) URL to a video, and tell us how the organization you are nominating made an extraordinary impact on the community since 1/1/2020.

Nomination Rules

The Martha’s Vineyard Bank Charitable Foundation will consider grants for nonprofit organizations in the following Giving Categories:

  • Health and Human Need
  • Economic Development
  • Affordable Housing
  • Education
  • Elderly Services
  • Community Services
  • Special Capital Expenditure
  • Culture, Art and Historic Heritage

The Foundation will not provide support for the following:

  • Organizations that are not tax-exempt under federal tax regulations
  • Political, religious, and governmental organizations
  • Travel expenses, including school field trips
  • Social functions
  • Individuals

Other Requirements

  • Nominees must be located or provide service in Martha’s Vineyard, Falmouth and adjacent communities;
  • Have community support and address specific community needs;
  • Demonstrate fiscal and administrative stability; and
  • Align with one or more of the Giving Categories listed above.
