Emergency Planning Tips

The global COVID-19 pandemic has shown that emergencies and disasters can happen anywhere at any time – prevention and preparation are essential. Being prepared for an emergency means understanding what actions to take before, during and after, which can help minimize stress and prevent injuries or costly damages to your home or business.

During National Emergency Preparedness Week, from Sunday, May 2 to Saturday, May 8, 2021, the City of Vaughan wants to share important emergency preparedness and safety information with citizens and remind them that they are more prepared for an emergency than they think.

How do you prepare for emergencies in your home? In the comment section below, share your emergency management tips, safety plan and stories to help educate the community. Your tips could help to save a life!
