“It’s a Wonderful Life” Creative Challenge

Do you like a good creative challenge? Would you like your design included in one of our gallery exhibits?

OOAK Artisan Showcase is having a creative challenge and you are invited to participate!

Our challenge will be open to jewelry designers, greeting card makers, photographers and visual artists. The theme of this challenge is based on the holiday movie classic, It’s a Wonderful Life.

“It's a Wonderful Life is a 1946 American Christmas fantasy drama film produced and directed by Frank Capra. It starred James Stewart. The film is now considered one of the most popular films in American cinema and due to numerous television showings in the 1980s has become traditional viewing during the Christmas season.” ~ Wikipedia

All submissions will be on placed on display in a SPECIAL holiday exhibit here in our gallery at OOAK Artisan Showcase in Rome, NY. We will have an opening reception on Friday, November 20, at 6:30pm. The exhibit will be on display through the end of December 2015.

You may elect to place your item(s) up for sale through our gallery; a commission fee of 25% will be charged on all sales made by OOAK Artisan Showcase, where half of this fee will be donated in the artist’s name to the American Foundation of Suicide Prevention.

1. Submit the following information with your entry: Your name, Name of your piece (optional), category. Mark NFS if you do NOT wish to place your item(s) for sale.
2. All net proceeds will be paid to the artist at the close of the exhibit.  
3. Sales tax is collected and paid by us.                                                                                              
4. IMPORTANT: In order to plan our display needs, please send the following information  by November 9th via email to  challenge@ooakartisanshowcase.com
